VELOCITY SCRIPT TOOL INSTRUCTIONS Copyright © 2020 DemandGen® International, Inc. Page 2 of 7 VELOCITY SCRIPT TOOL OVERVIEW Need to create a table of custom object records in your email? This tool will take the information you input and generate a script for you that you can add to a script token that can be used in your email to display lead record data in a table format. Tool features include: Ability to choose between a 1, 2, or 3 column table You can choose up to three different criteria for segmenting the objects Set the (and/or) search logic between criteria Has the option to group criteria 1 and 2 Includes a section for custom CSS for the table column header and the displayed text in the rows below. Sample use cases: Send an email that that displays object record data for specific transactions, last payment date, payment due date, etc. Kick off an autoresponder email to the relevant sales rep when a prospect submits a form on your website. You can also dynamically include other relevant lead record information your sales reps may find useful in your email. Send one reporting email to all your sales reps that dynamically autopopulates the relevant information from individual lead records based on their sales territory. A quick summary of how to use this tool Enter your values in the appropriate fields. The Velocity Script tool will dynamically generate a script, using a combination of formulas and macros, in the last column ("Concatenated Velocity Script"). Copy and paste the autogenerated script into the script token and place the token in your email where you would like the table to display. PLEASE NOTE: Extra quotation marks sometimes appear in the script after a direct copy/paste. You may need to first copy/paste into a Word doc, and then copy/paste into the script token editor. The generated code will display a table that is set to 100% width, so it will go the width of the editable section you place the script token in.
